Practical tips

  • Hours: Most events start between 8 and 9 a.m., with vendors welcomed from 6 a.m. Arrive early to find the best bargains.
  • Payment: Bring cash, although some vendors accept card payments.
  • Parking: Parking may be limited, especially in village centers. Consider carpooling or using public transport where possible.
  • Weather: September marks the beginning of autumn in Haute-Savoie, with cooler mornings in the mountains. Bring a light jacket, even if afternoons remain mild.
  • Vendor registration: Many associations (schools, parent-teacher associations, festival committees) now require online registration via HelloAsso or Billetweb. It’s best to reserve your space in advance, as spots fill up quickly at the start of the school year.
