Toquicimes 2026: mountain cuisine celebrates its grand return to Megève

From Friday, October 16 to Sunday, October 18, 2026, Megève hosts Toquicimes, the must-attend mountain cuisine event. This new edition promises a program full of novelties and sharing, entirely free and open to all.

A tribute to Alpine flavors

Toquicimes is much more than a simple culinary festival: it is a vibrant tribute to Alpine flavors, a place for meetings and transmission, where starred chefs, passionate artisans, local producers, and lovers of cuisine share their know-how and passion. The event unfolds around several emblematic spaces: the producers’ market, the Halles square, the food trucks, the gourmet area, as well as special menus offered by the village restaurateurs.

Three days of gourmet activities

  • Friday, October 16: the traditional waiter race, masterclasses with chefs, and the Savoyard Mâchon.
  • Saturday, October 17: best Alpine fondue contest, “I cook with my boxeur chef” contest, talk on “good and healthy mountain cuisine,” as well as workshops for children.
  • Sunday, October 18: pastry workshop, family contest “Each to their own Mont Blanc,” children’s workshops, and best mountain pâté croûte contest.
